DAMONTE RANCH HIGH SCHOOL

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2024

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS A “B” DAY

“AND NOW FOR YOUR MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS.”

This is a reminder that Damonte Ranch High School is a closed campus.

  • Students have a 35-minute lunch and must remain on campus during that time.
  • Students may go outside during lunch but cannot leave the sidewalk surrounding the school.
  • Additionally, students may not sit in their car during lunch or access their cars during the break.
  • Individuals with a full 1-8th period schedule must remain on campus from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
  • Loss of privilege will be a consequence for repeat offenders.
  • Only qualified students who are on-track for graduation will be permitted to get an approved off-campus stamp.
  • The off-campus stamp on the student’s ID allows the student to leave campus when their schedule does not contain any classes after lunch on that same day.
  • Students can obtain their off-campus stamp at the Bookkeeper window, only if they have off campus for third or sixth period.

If you need a student parking pass, please visit the corral as soon as possible.

ALL students need a pass to park on Damonte Ranch High School property.  Cars without a parking permit on their mirror will receive a parking violation.  Additionally, students may not park at the front of the school in the staff parking lot.  Student parking is located on the North and South side of the school.

Attention Seniors- Mr. Mustang is back!  Mr. Mustang is designed to be a fair and fun pageant that highlights the character and talents of Damonte’s amazing SENIOR boys!  It is a fun but demanding experience.  Contestants are expected to exemplify the qualities of a role model student and citizen.  They must be in good standing with administration, staff, and the Corral and fulfill all requirements and expectations.  IF you want to get more information and/or would like to be a part of this fun Damonte tradition pick up an application packet in Room 226.  ALL applications are due by 2:40 pm on Friday, January 26th to Room 226.

Do you want to be involved in student leadership next school year?   Run for a student body officer position.  Campaign packets are available now and need to be turned in by Friday, January 19th.  You can pick up a candidate packet in the Main Office or in Room 226.  See Mrs. Norton if you have any questions.  Elections for next year’s class officers will start in February.
