This program only works with Firefox or Google Chrome. Registration must be completed by February 8, 2023. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Daniels in the main office.

If you are interested in joining the swim team, we will be having a meeting on February 2nd during lunch in room 117.

Congratulations to our December AP Student of the Month:  Isabela Valdez!  Isabela was nominated by Ms. Milliken for her exceptional work on AP Computer Science.  Here is what Ms. Milliken had to say about Isabela: Isabela is a hardworking student who works well with everyone. She is a pleasure to have in class! I am excited to see what Isabela’s future holds for her. Congratulations!

The BJ’s Restaurant Fundraiser is today, from 11 am -11pm.  Pick up a flyer in the Office or take a picture and show it at the restaurant.  Funds go toward scholarships for seniors.  Wednesday is ten-dollar burger day with a side!!

Do you like baked goods?  National Honors Society is hosting a bake sale for campus improvement tomorrow the 19th during lunch.  Tables will be set up outside of the Career Center.  Cookies will be one dollar and cupcakes will be three dollars.  We hope to see you there!

Hello amazing mustang family.  Your Navy JROTC program is hosting a canned food drive through Friday, December 16, in support of our Damonte Ranch community and families during this holiday season.  We are currently accepting non-perishable canned food donations.  Our goal is to collect over a thousand donations.  Financial donations will be used to purchase food items for our local food bank.  Donations can be brought to room 126, 135 or dropped in the bin outside of the Main Office.  Thank you for all your support.

J4NG is collecting clean, school appropriate clothing in great condition for our students in need.  Please donate them to the Main Office or Library by December 22.  Thank you.

If you saw the musical last year, All Shook Up!, then you already KNOW what fun it looks like to perform on stage!  Well, come give it a shot for our musical this year, Chicago!  We’re running audition workshops to help you become informed and confident about the audition process, and the first one is Wednesday, December 14th after school in the theatre.  Come by and see what auditioning for a musical is all about!

Students and Staff!  Like short films?!  Come to the screening of the top scoring films submitted to 5Fest, our short film festival!  The screening is only $5 at the door on December 14th at 6:30 pm in the Theatre!  Come see who the winner is!

The student store staff is looking for you to design the next hoodie!  Submit your designs by December 14th. The winner will receive a free hoodie with their design, $5 to the student store and of course, bragging rights.  Look for the green flyers around the school for more information.

Tonight at Damonte Ranch High School, our Boys Basketball Team takes on Mission Viejo from Los Angeles.  Game time is 7 pm, hope to see you there!

Would you like to give a gift to a young child who is in need this holiday season?  FCA is sponsoring a Toy Drive for period 7/8 classes.  Toys should be new and unwrapped, and all toys will be given to the Children’s Cabinet, which is a local organization that serves families and students here in Reno.  The Toy Drive runs through tomorrow, Friday, December 9.
