PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

VOTE for your favorite homecoming royalty nominees on Friday AT LUNCH!  Look for the QR code to vote in the counselor hallways.  Winners will be announced at the assembly that day.

If anyone is interested in wrestling this season, please come to the small gym on Wednesday September 27th during lunch.

Attention Mustangs 16 years of age and older.  Our blood drive is NEXT Wednesday, September 27.  Do you want to be excused from class and save up to three lives?  Then sign up for an appointment using the QR codes in the hallways.  16-year-olds need a permission slip.   On the day of the blood drive be sure to eat a hearty breakfast.  The blood mobiles will be located in the south parking lot by the gym.  See Mrs. Norton in room 226 if you need a permission slip or have any questions.  

Are you interested in trying out for the Girls Basketball Program?  There will be a mandatory meeting in the Main Gym on Thursday, September 28th at 11:40 am.  You will receive your tryout packet at the meeting, so please make sure to attend.  We hope to see you there!”

Hola amigos:  Hispanic Club will have a meeting in Mrs. Gutiérrez’s room, 232, TODAY at lunch.  If you are interested in participating in some fun and social activities, come and check us out!  Bring your lunch and of course a new friend.  ¡Hasta pronto! (Run through 9/21/23) 

Nevada Reading Week is coming up in March and if you are the groovy artistic type, you could win money for designing the Nevada Reading Week logo!  The theme is “Embrace the Magic of Reading” and the grand prize winner will see their design featured statewide on apparel, social media, etc.  It’s a win-win!  The Grand Prize is a $150 gift card and Honorable Mention receives a $75 gift card.  Designs must be submitted by September 29th.  See Ms. Decker in the library for all the details.

Juniors and Seniors:  Are you fluent in a language other thanEnglish? Then test for the Seal of Biliteracy on October 19th! The cost is $35 and the last day to sign up is October 13th . See Mrs. Godoy in room 254 to sign up or for more information.  

Home coming tickets are being sold at lunch only, at the end of the counselor hallway.  They are $10 each CASH ONLY.  It will cost $20 at the door.  YOU CANNOT BUY tickets for a guest at the door!   The BOOKKEEPER IS NOT SELLING TICKETS!
