Congratulations to the March AP Student of the Month: Aidan Chauvin. Aidan was nominated by Mrs. Ault for his work in BC Calculus, and she said the following about Aidan: “Aidan is both an incredible math student and a wonderful student to have in an AP class. He is detailed, dedicated and focused, is highly successful, and he contributes to the success of those around him because he has thoughtful discussions and is willing to take the time to share his ideas and thoughts with others in the class.” Congratulations, Aidan, on being the March AP Student of the Month! (Run Thursday)
It’s almost Prom! And here are your spirit week dress up day themes:
Monday the 17th- ‘O Garden of class colors
Seniors wear purple
Juniors wear pink
Sophomores wear green
Freshman wear yellow/orange
Staff wear blues
Tuesday the 18th- Anything but a Backpack day
NO ELEVATOR USE WILL BE ALLOWED without a pass! You must be able to carry it up the stairs
Wednesday the 19th- Sequins and Gold day
Thursday the 20th- Flower Power day
Friday the 21st- “Swing into Spring” – wear your favorite baseball jersey or ANY SPORT JERSEY
England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales! Come join us on this adventure to Europe in the Spring of 2024. Discounts are still available through April, so come see Mr. Kaplan in room W258 for more information. (Run through 4/20/23)
Garden of Glamour is coming to the Nevada Museum of Art on Saturday, April 22nd. Prom is for juniors and seniors and is a FORMAL event, so plan on dressing accordingly. Guest passes are available in the Corral. They must be turned in to the Corral for approval by Wednesday, April 19th, but I wouldn’t wait until then. Tickets may be sold out. You cannot buy a ticket for a guest without an approved guest pass in our binder at ticket sales. Also- if you are bringing a guest, YOU MUST ARRIVE and check in with your guest at prom.
Junior/Senior Prom tickets will ONLY be sold at LUNCH in the counselor’s hallway. You cannot buy them from the bookkeeper.
Seniors ONLY may start buying their ticket on Thursday and Friday, April 13th and 14th. Starting Monday April 17th, juniors may buy their tickets too. We only have 700 tickets available so once they are gone, ticket sales will be over. There will be NO tickets sales at the door the night of prom.
Tickets are $30 each-CASH or Check ONLY and you must bring your ID!!! There are NO REFUNDS for any reason! IF you have any questions, please see Mrs. Amini or Mrs. Norton.
