PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS A “B” DAY

“AND NOW FOR YOUR MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS.”

Hey buckaroos!

Today is the final day of Crashin’ in the Corral!

We hope you’ve enjoyed making Mustang history.

Keep on wrangling your change and add it to your class bucket.

Clean out your cars, your pockets, your sofas, and your bedrooms and bring in that loose change!!

Bills and checks are also accepted.

Donations will be collected until the end of school today.

The class that raises the largest grand total will win a prize.

Classes can sign up to visit the corral from 8-11:30 and from noon until 2 pm.

At 11:30, our own Huckleberry, Mr. Bell will put on the winning outfit and give the best hog callin’/karaoke performance this side of the Sierras.

Life Church has sponsored pizza and yogurt for lunch (while supplies last).

Mr. Bell will ride off into the sunset at 2:00 pm.

From 2 to 3 pm, parents and student volunteers will collect the final round of donations for Damonte Ranch Scholarships.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Jostens will be here TODAY, Friday April 1, to deliver Graduation Announcements during Lunch.

Please stop by their table in the Counselor’s Hallway to pick up your order.

Come Ride with Us!  The Damonte Ranch Mountain Bike Club Team registration is open from April to June.  Please contact Teri Thomsen to register at 775 721-0730 or teri.thomsen@hotmail.com.

Attention Juniors and Seniors

Prom is almost here!  Our Junior/Senior Prom is on Saturday, April 30th

We will be going “Into the Woods” as we dance the night away from 8-11pm at the Renaissance Hotel.

Tickets will be $40 CASH ONLY per person.

Tickets will go on sale during lunch for SENIORS ONLY on April 20th-22nd and then to Juniors and Seniors starting April 25th.

You must have a student ID to buy your ticket.

There are only 700 tickets available, so it’s first come first serve and ticket sales will stop when we are sold out.  (Run until 4/8)

If you want to bring a date to Prom who is NOT a Damonte Ranch junior or senior you have to apply for a guest pass.

Those applications will be available starting on Monday, April 11th in the corral.

You cannot buy a ticket for your guest until that pass has been approved, so do NOT wait until the last minute to turn in that guest pass application or the tickets may be sold out.

If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Amini or Mrs. Norton.  (Run until 4/8)

Attention Mustangs- we are going to have a “promposal” contest!

Email us your promposal video or pictures to DRHSprom2022@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 20th at 2:30 pm.

We will vote for our favorite via our Instagram page @_damonteranchhs and the winner will be announced on Friday, the 22nd at 2:30pm.

The winner will receive two free prom tickets.

The Literary Magazine of Damonte Ranch High School is now accepting original submissions until April 30, 2022.
