PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MOMENT OF SILENCE

TODAY IS A “B” DAY

Hola amigos, Hispanic Club will be selling a very delicious hot chocolate and a sweet bread for $3 this Friday, November 19 during lunch time in front of the Career Center. We appreciate your support. See you then!  (RUN 11/15 – 11/19)

The Food Drive IC competition has started

Bring in those non-perishable foods/cans to your IC class for a chance to win a pizza or ice cream party.

NHS students will be coming in everyday to pick those up.

Let’s help our community out and bring in that food.

The Blood drive is this Thursday.  IF you signed up be sure to…

  • Bring your ID
  • Eat a healthy, low-fat meal within two hours ahead of your donation
  • Drink 8 to 16 ounces of water or a sports drink
  • The day before you donate, have a snack or a meal that’s on the salty side.  Replacing some of that salt ahead of time helps keep your blood pressure normal and can improve your donation experience.
  • Be sure to check in with your teacher for the class you will be missing so you don’t get marked absent.  The blood mobiles will be located in the south parking lot outside the cafeteria.
  • If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Norton in room 226.

Attention Class of 2022- order your senior hoodies today.

The order forms are available in room 226, 214, and with the bookkeeper.

All money and forms are due by Friday, December 10th.

Don’t miss out- you are going to want one of these!

The kitchen is looking to hire 3 students at lunch and 2 for before school shifts, 7.25 an hour for you to have some pocket money.

Morning shifts for anyone who is at school before 7:30 am.

Come see Mrs Taiya in the kitchen before school or during breakfast for application/questions.  (Please run until 12/7/21)

Grandma Thiede’s mac n cheese with a green side salad is back.

This Thursday, Mrs. Thiede’s Foods 2 Class will be preparing this amazing dish for a $3 per plate donation.

Preorder with Mrs. Thiede in room 117 or come the beginning of lunch this Thursday.

Hey fellow Mustangs!

If you would like to be a part of delivering the school announcements via video, we would love to have you join the Mustang Media Club.

This will be fun and creative – no stress – with the club recording one short video announcement per week that will air each Friday.

Easy peasy!

No experience necessary – just bring your stellar selves.

If you’re interested and would like to take advantage of this cool opportunity, please visit Mr. Cabada in the Career Center or Ms. Howden in the library this week.

Hope to see you!

The District is introducing a new program called Brave Space.

You may notice that some staff members have a sign with the words Brave Space on it in their office door or in their classroom.

This sign indicates that the staff member is available and welcoming to all students and they are available to support students dealing with sensitive issues.

That’s all for your Morning Announcements,

And remember:  Educate, Empower and Inspire

HAVE A GREAT DAY, DAMONTE!
