Congratulations to the winning playwrights whose scripts have been selected for full productions next semester!  This year’s winning scripts are:

“Customer Service” by Violet Wilhelm

“For All It’s Worth” by Emma Tomlinson

“The Living Room” by Aiden Ryan

“The Phantom Abode” by Sasha Rodriguez and Charles Setzer

“Stewart is the Worst” by Jade Chen and Chris Barry

“Time and the Picture” by Shiloh Caramat and Charles Setzer

There will be roles in these short plays open to all DRHS students—look for open auditions in January when we return from Winter Break!

If you’re interested in playing boys or girls lacrosse for spring, there will be sign-ups for both teams at lunch this Friday in the hallway in front of the Career Center.  Whether you’ve played before or not, come check it out! 

Would you like to give a gift to a young child who is in need this holiday season?  FCA is sponsoring a Toy Drive for period 7/8 classes.  Toys should be new and unwrapped, and all toys will be given to the Children’s Cabinet, which is a local organization that serves families and students here in Reno.  The Toy Drive runs through Friday 12/9.

J4NG is collecting clean, school appropriate clothing in great condition for our students in need.  Please donate them to the Main Office or Library by December 22.  Thank you.
